SUMMARY:Webinar: Understanding The Control of Explosive Precursors and Poisons Regulations 2023
DESCRIPTION:The Control of Explosives Precursors and Poisons Regulations 2023 will enter legislation in October 2023. This legislation builds upon previous licensing schemes\, incorporating new details due to Brexit. Some of the changes to the current regulations will affect the reporting of some chemical sales to customers. \nThis webinar will provide information on why reporting suspicious activity on the supply of certain chemicals is important\, by providing an overview from NPSA on the current threat picture in relation to homemade explosive devices and the terrorist landscape. \nRepresentatives from the Homeland Security Group within the Home Office will then provide an overview of the current legislative requirements and the new amendments coming into force on the 1st October 2023.
