Eleventh Hour Beauty Launches

by | Apr 9, 2020

The revolutionary new online platform that helps hair and beauty businesses fill empty slots and customers find last-minute appointments is launching with a strong #StandWithSalons campaign, led by brand ambassador Olivia Bowen.

Whilst all salons are currently closed and freelancers unable to work, Eleventh Hour Beauty is encouraging owners and self-employed hairdressers, beauty therapists and nail technicians to sign up to the website ready for when they reopen and start working again, to help futureproof their business. Businesses can also list ‘catch-up’ appointments to keep in touch with clients during these difficult times.

Over £1.2million is lost in the hair industry* alone in missed appointments each year and Eleventh Hour Beauty seeks to address this by pairing customers wanting last minute appointments with salons offering them.

Eleventh Hour Beauty, the concept of former beauty therapist Abigail Fletcher, is significantly different to other platforms in that it is based on a fixed monthly subscription fee with no hidden costs or commission. There is no limit on the amount or type of treatments offered and salons determine the price of these and take payment direct from the customer. They can even decide whether or not to accept the potential client, as salons give clients a rating just as the client gives a rating to the salon or service.

Potential clients join Eleventh Hour Beauty for free, and the launch is being backed by a full consumer PR campaign, as well as ambassador, entrepreneur and reality TV star Olivia Bowen’s 2.3 million Instagram followers @oliviadbowen.

Founder Abigail says, “Whilst we are all going through this hugely difficult time we didn’t want to postpone the launch of Eleventh Hour Beauty – in fact we think it’s more vital than ever that we are all prepared for when the time comes to go back to work. Profits and businesses have already taken a huge hit and the last thing we need is further damage from no shows once businesses are operating again. I’ve launched #StandWithSalons with Olivia to ensure that we keep promoting our industry to the public and they will be ready to come back when we are.”

Salons and freelancers interested in joining Eleventh Hour Beauty are being offered an 11-week free trial, to start whenever they wish once they are open/working again.

Prices for Eleventh Hour Beauty start at £9.99 per month for a student with one diary/column up to £49.99 per month for 6-10 diaries/columns.
