by | May 14, 2020

On 26 May 14.00pm BST, CTPA will be running a webinar on ‘Simplifying Brexit: Practical Advice for Small Businesses’. The session will be free for both CTPA members and non-members and intended to provide the necessary information for small and medium businesses, covering crucial aspects of Brexit preparedness to ensure their business can continue to run as smoothly as possible.

During the CTPA webinar, there will also be a panel discussion with the British Beauty Council and other relevant external stakeholders, who will inform attendees about the support they have been providing businesses and address some of the key concerns that their members might have.

Read on for the detailed programme:

  • In the first part of the webinar, CTPA will provide an update of the current political situation and the Brexit negotiations, explaining all possible scenarios that can occur at the end of the Brexit transition period (31 December 2020).  CTPA will then provide a simple explanation on what the UK Cosmetics Regulation is expected to be, highlighting the key actions businesses shall take to ensure compliance and continue to sell product on the UK market
  • The second session of the webinar will be a panel discussion with relevant external stakeholders in the cosmetics industry, including the British Beauty Council, Enterprise Nation and more.  The panel aims to allow each stakeholder to give an overview of the support given to their members, but more importantly address the key challenges members are facing
  • A twenty minute Q&A session will conclude the webinar to address any questions from the audience.

For CTPA advice on Brexit preparations, members can access the CTPA Brexit Advice for Members, whilst non-member companies can access the CTPA Brexit Public Advice.
