On Thursday, 13th August, the British Government announced that close contact beauty services can reopen from Saturday 15th August. However, this updated guidance does not apply to those who are currently in local lockdown measures.
Those working in the beauty and hair industry must comply with all new guidelines, which state that people working in hair, barbering and beauty (and other close contact services) must wear Type II masks as well as a visor.
