British Beauty Council loves a beauty success story and we are high fiving the founder and team of Glossier, who include British Beauty Council co-founder Gemma Bellman, for a valuation of over $1bn being put on the company following a fresh round of investment via Sequoia Capital.
Founded by US blogger Emily Weiss in 2014, Glossier doubled its sales last year to $100m and has some 200 employees.
