Beautystack have recently secured £4m investment to develop their team in venture capital from Index Ventures, who have also worked with Asos, Glossier and Facebook, among others.

According to Beautystack, the £4m will enable the company “to find curious, creative, analytical people, and drive the business forward.”

Beautystack first launched in late 2018 by beauty entrepreneur and British Beauty Council advisor Sharmadean Reid MBE – alongside co-founders Ken Lalobo and Dan Woodbury. The beauty booking service app allows consumers to book services through visual content rather than traditional menus.

British Beauty Council spoke to Sharmadean Reid about this fantastic investment, she commented:

“I feel super excited to be backed by some of the most experienced investors in the industry, who believe in our vision of supporting beauty entrepreneurs around the world. We can’t wait to show you what’s coming next.”
